* Riot, one of the contenders of the verification race, practiced Sonic Wave back in 2016 but did not beat it due to him getting demotivated after crashing at 96%; Riot came back into the level after his channel was reinstated, he ended up beating Sonic Wave on Halloween on 31 October 2020; Riot had also jumped 110 spots on the Demonlist from his previously verified level, Bloodbath, after achieving his new hardest after five years or 1,906 days.
* Xanii has beaten this level 31 times as of 12 May 2022.
** He also beat this level three times in a row on 13 May 2022.
* DashY became the first player to beat Sonic Wave on mobile on 19 May 2021, using a 120Hz phone.
** DashY also jumped 128 spots on the Demonlist from Bloodbath; unlike Riot, DashY beat the level on mobile and was 18 spots higher than Riot's jump record.
** Biprex became the first 60hz mobile victor of Sonic Wave on 18 November 2021; Biprex also beat the Top 5 on the ''Low Refresh Rate'' Mobile Demonlist.
* Galaxy GD became the first player to beat Sonic Wave on 60Hz on 14 July 2021.
